Join Cub Scout Pack 007!
We are a family-focused Cub Scout Pack in Pineville, NC. We meet on Mondays at 6:30 PM at Pineville
Church of the Nazarene. We welcome all kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Our goal is to help young
people make good choices by teaching the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law

Registration Information

- Dues: $135 per child (full program cost is $260, offset by fundraising efforts that every family

- Registration method: Paper Application Only — submit your application directly to us. Pack 007
pays Council dues and will send you an invoice for your portion (reduced for any volunteer

Annual Calendar Highlights
Our year is filled with exciting, meaningful activities for every scout. Some of our major events include:
- Bike rides, outdoor hikes, and more adventure!
Pack meetings are held on Mondays, 6:30pm-7:30pm. We break for major holidays, spring, and summer
vacations, focusing on special activities when school is out - Bobcat Ceremonies—celebrating every new scout’s first achievement
- National Night Out with Pineville PD
- King’s Mountain Hike (autumn adventure!)
- Pineville Tree Lighting—help light up the holidays
- Scouting for Food—community service project benefitting local families
- STEM-Focused Activities—explore science, technology, engineering, and math in fun, hands-on
ways - Potluck & Adult Awards—celebrate our successes as a community
- Pinewood Derby—race day excitement for the whole pack
- Sporting Team Scout Nights—exclusive access and fun in Charlotte

Family Involvement
Family is at the heart of Cub Scouting! We thrive because of our parents and guardians.
- Our leaders are here to support and guide, but every parent can make a difference by assisting
Den Leaders or joining our Pack Committee - You’re encouraged to attend meetings and help plan events—your involvement makes our pack
stronger. - The more you volunteer, the more discounted dues you can earn!

Registration & Dues Breakdown
We believe in complete transparency so families know exactly what to expect. Scouting is an incredible value compared to most youth sports and extracurriculars.
- Out-of-Pocket Family Dues: $300 per child / year
Where your dues go:
- National BSA Dues: Covers national program access, youth safety oversight, and background checks.
- Mecklenburg County Council Dues: Supports local Scout camps, facility maintenance, and regional youth events.
- Pack Dues: Covers rank advancement badges, adventure loops, Pinewood Derby car kits, neckerchiefs, slides, and pack event supplies.
💡 Volunteer Discounts Available: We thrive on parent involvement! Parents who step up as Den Leaders or Committee Members earn reduced annual dues for their Scouts.

- Apply Online or Complete a Paper Form:
- Online (Fastest): Click Join Pack 007 on BeAScout to register online.
- Paper Form: Prefer paper? Download the BSA Youth Application PDF and submit it directly to pack leadership or via email.
- Get Your Scout’s Gear:
- Once registered, your Den Leader can help on which handbook and uniform parts (shirt, hat, belt) your Scout needs.
- Come to Your First Meeting!
- We meet on Mondays from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Pineville Church (8614 Pineville-Matthews Rd). (Check our calendar or reach out to confirm exact meeting dates)
